Welcome

Hi!  I’m Mary Erickson, owner/operator and only employee of Mid-County Driving School.  I’ve been in business, instructing teens, since 1999. By knowing your teen personally, throughout the process, you know and I know that your teen will get all the required training and I will have a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.

Driver’s training is a collaboration between Instructor and Parent/Guardian.  Besides the 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel, there is a Parent Class in which the Parents & Students learn about the Graduated Drivers License, through a Point of Impact Presentation, along with a Law Enforcement presentation. If the parent or guardian takes the class their student will need 40 hours logged, 15 of which are at night. Those not attending require 50 hours logged. That requires the student driving with a parent/guardian. The completed log sheets are required to be allowed to take their Road Test for their license. Driving with your teen can be a learning experience for both of you.  Your teen can use this opportunity to build your confidence in their driving abilities.
